The Artful Diner at Taste of London
By The Artful Diner (@TheArtfulDiner)
Ah, the British summer. I started off my day at Taste of London with the motto ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing’. So having pulled on wellies and packed my waterproof, the sun came out and weeks of rain steamed off. Feeling utterly outfoxed, I walked into Taste complete with camera, crowns (Taste currency) and a big appetite.
First I made a beeline for the Secret Garden, which played host to The MENU, a tasting menu designed by five incredible chefs: Bruno Loubet, Angela Hartnett, Nuno Mendes, Wolfgang Puck and Jason Atherton. The team from Cinnamon Candy, which was in charge delivery, were all very calm and it was great to see each chef again (we first met at the dry run back in May).
Having spent an hour poking my camera behind the scenes, I headed back into the main event to get stuck in with what I was really there for, the FOOD. If you want to see what I thought of it all, check out the gallery below…
