Christmas at Kensington Place Kensington Place is the neighbourhood restaurant in bohemian Notting Hill. Neither stuffy nor pretentious, the restaurant is almost all things to all people. At Christmas time it buzzes with the happy hum of contented customers indulging in celebratory dinners, family reunions or simply a festive meal out to ward off the December chill. In the kitchen, Henry Vigar gives a confident and happy twist to modern brasserie fare that 's perfect for seasonal entertaining. Henry has created a special Christmas menu that blends yuletide favourites with the inspired French cuisine the restaurant is famous for. With dishes such as Pressed foie gras terrine, quince walnuts and sorrel and Norfolk turkey, sweet potato, Morteaux sausage roll and cranberry chutney - you 'll be spoilt for choice. Just make sure you leave room for pudding - opt for the traditional Christmas pudding served with beurre noisette ice cream and brandy foam or warm your winter bones with Chocolate fondant, milk puree, vanilla ice cream and almond tuille and you certainly won 't regret it!
